Danyel “Dan” Delgado, born in Brasília, Brazil in 1984, discovered his intense passion for motorsports through his earliest experiences with go-karting, which set the course for his early profession. By the age of 17, Danyel launched his professional racing career. Leveraging his successful background in racing (both by competing and instructing), he secured private and corporate sponsorships that allowed him to compete internationally in single-seater formula cars, sports car, sports prototype and endurance competitions. In late 2011, Danyel transitioned from driver to team principal, founding his own formula car and sports prototype racing teams. Under his leadership, the organization achieved significant success, supporting the development of numerous drivers as they progressed through the ranks of professional motorsport. His team earned multiple class wins and national championship titles, culminating in his retirement from the industry in 2024. Today, Danyel brings his expertise in team leadership, logistics, and operational execution to Candangos, where his results-driven mindset and strategic oversight play a key role in the company’s continued growth and efficiency.
